The foodmate Mid Wing Cutter wing clipping equipment is designed to cut off the mid-section (halyard / mid) of the humeral wing of the carcass, which is also called the part of the first joint. The equipment cuts the wing along the second joint. The module can be used both for wings with tips, and without them. The carcasses are transported by means of suspensions attached to a chain guided by rails. With the help of the cross member, the carcasses rise and press against the rails, which allows the wing to be positioned at the right angle and in the right position. The midpoints of the wings are then cut off with circular saws. The horizontal distance between the saws can be adjusted using the spindle. The height of the machine is adjustable, the height of the blades is adjusted depending on the size of the carcasses.
