Meat is made from the internal organs of animals, meat scraps, other waste, by adding a small amount (up to 10) of bones, by grinding and drying them. This flour differs from meat and bone meal with a higher protein content - at least 58 - 65%, and contains less ash - (mineral) parts - no more than 12 - 14%. The amount of fat can reach 12-18%. Used mainly in the feeding of pigs and poultry. In the diet, it is introduced to the bird in the same amount as meat and bone meal. Meat flour is a good source of lysine, but it is low in methionine and tryptophan. It contains a sufficient amount of riboflavin, choline, nicotinamide and vitamin B12. The use of meat flour in animal feeding, together with methionine preparations, allows to achieve good results without the use of fish flour at certain periods of cultivation, to reduce the cost of production.
