The equipment is used to clean squid carcasses and tentacles from the outer skin, suction cups and hooks. The raw squid is loaded into the tank of the machine, after which the tank is filled with hot or warm water and starts to rotate. The skin of the squid, in contact with the embossed body of the tank and under the influence of hot water, is separated from the meat of the carcass and tentacles. At the end of the working process, the cleaned squid is removed from the tank, the waste water is drained through a special hole. Squid washing equipment is rationally and compactly designed, simple, reliable and economical in operation; squid cleaning efficiency reaches 90-95%. The machine parts coming into direct contact with the product are made of stainless steel. The equipment is easy to disassemble for washing and meets the requirements of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), which means control of critical areas and risk analysis.
