The support for the hammer crusher shaft is two ball bearings and two O-rings. High-speed rotating "hammers" crush the product, which, passing through the perforated sheet, is collected in a stainless steel tank located under the crusher. The electric motor is directly connected to the articulated clutch installed between the shaft of the hammer mill and the axis of the electric motor. The safety clutch mechanism comes into effect if foreign substances get inside the product and prevents breakage of the “hammers” and the perforated sheet. Upon request, this unit can be equipped with continuous steam injection to prevent product oxidation. The TM crusher can be connected to the Giubileo cold extraction system for processing pitted fruits.
