Blood drain gutter

It is installed on the slaughter line after automatic or manual incision of the jugular vein and carotid artery from one or both sides of the bird’s neck. The gutter is designed to collect and transport blood using a pump to its destination. The installation is made in the form of an open vessel in a stationary or portable form. Protective shields are mounted on the sides of the gutter to prevent blood from splashing into the workshop room. The configuration of the gutter depends on the shape of the room and the route of the slaughter line. It is made of stainless acid-resistant materials. Bleeding time for broilers is 180 seconds, during this period the bird loses about 50% of the blood.
