Aftercooler

A small refrigerator that is attached to a reflux condenser. For correct operation of the reflux condenser during rectification, the flow of coolant is selected in such a way that phlegm is not supercooled. Therefore, the selected phlegm has a temperature of about 75 degrees, therefore, to cool it to room temperature, a post-cooler is installed. During distillation to reduce the flow rate of the coolant. the amount of liquid supplied is regulated in such a way that it would be sufficient solely for condensation of alcohol vapors; it will cool the after-cooler to room temperature, at which it is convenient to measure the strength of the distillate.
