Brewing filtration apparatus

The modern filtration apparatus is a round-section capacity with a conical or flat cover and a flat bottom. All parts and mechanisms of the apparatus in contact with the mash are made of stainless steel. The ratio of the height and diameter of the cylindrical part of the housing is approximately 1: (3-5). The lid of the device has a conical shape, to which an exhaust pipe, a hatch, an internal illumination system, an inspection window are attached. But in simpler devices, the lid can also be flat with a hatch fixed to it, an inspection window and a stirrer drive. The stirrer drive can also be mounted at the bottom of the apparatus. At a distance of 20 mm from the main bottom in the filtration apparatus there is a second sieve bottom made of stainless steel. It consists of individual segments, equipped with supports, fixed with special fasteners. On the surface of each segment there are slotted radially oriented holes 0.7x72mm in size. The live cross-section of the sieve bottom is 10-15%. Under the sieve, mainly the bottom, there are nozzles to which washing solutions are supplied for washing without raising the sieve bottom. Also, drain funnels are welded to the bottom, which are connected to the filter pipes, to drain the wort from the sieve space. Prices for tanks are negotiable, and depend on the volume of the tank, the current price of stainless steel and the product configuration.
