The KLA 220 - HV 153 machine is designed for one-sided and two-sided sharpening of flat and plate-shaped circular knives with a diameter of 60 to 475 mm. Circular knives are driven by an electric drive as a result of which, they remain perfectly round. The maximum bevel width is 6 mm. The minimum amount of material is removed from the knife. The lamp for illumination of a workplace provides optimum lighting during sharpening. The speed of one of the two pairs of grinding wheels is continuously adjustable using a potentiometer (ordered separately). Thanks to this, one-sided sharpening is possible. The sharpness, angle of the cutting edge and the width of the chamfer of the circular knife have a great influence on the quality of the cut products. The KLA 220 - HV 153 machine provides sharpening of knives at an exact angle with preservation of an initial disk form of a knife. As a result, the circular knife retains its precise shape throughout its life.
