Color - from dark yellow to tan. Malt extract is obtained from roasted barley malt. The extract has a mild flavor and a dark brown color palette. When mixed with annatto, the color turns to golden brown. The uses of the malt extract are very extensive, including soft drinks, beer, liquors, confectionery, biscuits, meat products and poultry products. Malt has excellent pH resistance to heat and light.
