Della Toffola offers a high range of presses with closed containers with innovative features. These presses have a central membrane made of non-toxic material attached to the wing support element; this membrane (which is usually always located in the middle of the drum) and the supporting element are then installed on the axis of the perforated stainless steel drum. The wort squeezed out by the action of the membrane flows through the channels in the form of a perforated mesh attached to the inner surface of the conveyor chamber. These channels for the flow of wort are a more interesting innovation of these models. Unlike other presses in which the channels have a direct shape, the channels in the PEC / PFC models made by Della Toffola are circular - or rather circular. This means that the channel occupies and uses the entire drum around the circumference, at least doubling the most useful pressing area compared to the standard system. The nets are mounted inside the container and arranged in such a way that rings are formed around the central axis; the wort chambers are the same width as the perforated nets and are formed inside the tank. This provides a fast, efficient and unhindered pressing / filtering process. All presses have been tested in accordance with directive 97/23 / CE.
