The “briquette” type bag forming machine is designed to give the bag of product (cereals, sugar, flour, pasta, etc.), packaged on a vertical packaging machine, the shape of the briquette. The machine is a horizontal carousel briquette forming machine with a chain conveyor driven by a servo drive. Packages with the product enter the molding cell and then, successively, at various positions of the carousel, the product is vibrated in the bag, forming the top of the bag, welding the upper seam, cutting and removing excess film, folding the top of the bag and fixing the stacked top. Management of all operating parameters of the machine and synchronization of drive movements is carried out by a programmable logic controller. For input and display of parameters, a single 10 ”graphic display with a touch screen (for dispenser, packaging machine and briquette shaper) is used. During operation, nodes are constantly diagnosed and statistics are accumulated with their output to the display.
