Superheaters are devices that increase the temperature of the steam above the saturation temperature, while the pressure of the superheated steam remains unchanged. The use of superheaters allows expanding the technological capabilities of steam generators and steam boilers used by enterprises. The superheater consists of a core, a boiler, electrical equipment, a temperature switch sensor, and a safety valve. The principle of operation of the unit is as follows: steam from the mains (steam generator or boiler room) is supplied through the valve to the superheater to the heating elements, the steam is heated. Heated steam from the boiler is discharged through the valve. The superheater circuit provides for the installation of a safety valve that opens when the steam pressure exceeds the set value (6 kg / cm2). Through this valve, steam is released into the superheater pan. Of course, the main advantage of this unit is the ability to increase steam temperature without increasing pressure, which is necessary in many industries.
