Designed for grinding wood waste (slab, trimmings, knots, wood trunks with a diameter of up to 150 mm, etc.) into technological chips (L = 10-22 mm). Principle of operation. Chopped wood enters the receiving window of the feed mechanism, is captured by gear rollers and enters the cutting zone. In the cutting zone, the knives of the rotating drum are separated from the layer of wood chips and bring it to the grate. Part of the chips passes through the grid cells and is evacuated to storage tanks. Large particles that do not pass through the cells return to the cutting zone for regrinding.
