In the first case, the operation scheme is simpler, the mash can be fed by gravity using a simple dispenser. However, the performance of the system decreases, since some of the steam energy supplied to the NSC is spent on heating the mash to the boiling point. In the second case, we somewhat complicate the design of the NSC by using a special preheating module, but we win in system performance. The principle of operation of the preheater distiller is quite simple. First, the SS pairs fall on the first heat exchanger-refrigerator, through which the mash is fed. Mash is heated almost to the start of boiling, the vapors of crude alcohol partially condense. The second refrigerator, through which the cooling water circulates, condenses and cools to the room temperature the entire SS, which comes from the NSC. The total cooling capacity is up to 4000 W, the supply of mash is up to 40 l / h. Cooling water supply 20-45liters per hour, depending on the NSC operating mode.
