The ASM 8C / RST corrugating machine is designed for corrugating consumer sausage collagen casings using a screw. The operation of the machine is fully automated, therefore, the maintenance of the machine consists only in the replacement of coils with a sheath and the selection of corrugated columns. The sheathing bay is fixed to the feed mandrel. The shell passes a system of guide rods into the vacuum chamber. In the vacuum chamber, the sheath is introduced at the inlet mandrel. The shell is inflated (under the influence of a partial vacuum) and with the help of feed rollers enters the screw corrugating head. From this head, the corrugated shell is already led to a cutting mechanism, where it is cut to a predetermined length and fed to the mandrel mandrel. When the turret is rotated, the casing enters the pressing point where the column is compressed, after the next rotation, the corrugated casing moves to the column outlet. When a malfunction occurs, the machine automatically stops, the PLC programmable machine (Lenze) determines the element that caused the accident. Advantages continuous corrugation method low power consumption small footprint the ability to set different corrugation parameters
