Batch Flotation Plant PFB When using a batch flotation plant, the wort is in a tank or reservoir. At the end of the flotation process (when the wort was filled to the top with wort that passed through the flotation unit or if the wort to be processed ended), the wort in the tank is divided into 2 layers: clean clarified wort at the bottom, and suspended particles on the surface. Pure wort is pumped through the outlet pipes at the bottom of the tank. The PFB model is equipped with a supercharger, centrifugal pumps, a vertical mixing housing, a gas supply device and a product pre-filter.
