KURS electronic carriage scales are designed for weighing railway cars and trains with a car weight of up to 150 tons. Various modifications of KURS carriage scales differ in the way of weighing and the number of weighing and intermediate platforms from one to five. In the KURS carriage scales, a South Korean electronic circuit and components by CAS Corporation (South Korea) are used, which ensures uninterrupted operation of the scales for many years. Scales are created taking into account requirements of operation in severe conditions at a continuous cargo flow. Factory warranty is 24 months. The weighing of a car, depending on the modification of the balance, can occur in statics (when the car is stopped) or in dynamics (movement at low speed). When weighing in motion, axial, body-wise or wagon-based weighing is used. The software associated with the electronics of the scales allows you to automatically determine the load on each axis of the car and determine the weight of the train as a whole and each car separately. When weighing a wagon in statics, a wagon is weighed depending on the modification of the scales in one of three ways: 1. Consistent weighing of each axis of the wagon trolley, followed by automatic summation and delivery of the total weight of the wagon. 2. Successive weighing of each wagon carriage with subsequent automatic summation and delivery of the total weight of the wagon. 3. Weighing the car as a whole.
