Poultry screw cooler is designed to cool gutted carcasses of birds in ice water. To achieve the best effect, ice water with a temperature of ~ 1, 5 - 2 ° C is used. Structure and principle of operation: Poultry screw cooler made of stainless, acid-resistant materials. It is made in the form of an open vessel formed from segments 1, 5 m or 2 m long (depending on diameter) connected by stainless screws; the sealing element is silicone with high mechanical strength. The equipment is launched by an electric motor (380V), depending on the size and performance of the cooler, different powers are used. Poultry carcasses enter the cooler directly from the conveyor by means of a carcass ejector or manually, where they pass along the entire length of the cooler with the help of a screw, and at the end of the cooler they are unloaded into the container, onto the table or through the trough - into the second screw cooler (if this is required technological process). The greatest cooling effect is achieved when two coolers are used, in which there is a separate supply and discharge of ice water. The technology using two coolers achieves the highest quality of cooling poultry carcasses.
