Outdoor bird washing

An external sink serves to wash off adhering feathers, blood, and other contaminants on the surface of carcasses; it is installed after the process of evisceration. The birds are washed by showering with water from special nozzles located on both internal sides of the device. To obtain the corresponding washing effect, the pressure of the water supplied to the apparatus must not be less than 2 atmospheres. At the inlet and outlet of the installation, polyethylene curtains are mounted to prevent water splashing outside the equipment. The water supply system to the nozzles is made of stainless pipes and fittings. The case of the device is made of stainless steel. The external washing device is suspended from the supporting structure of the overhead conveyor using special fasteners and is installed in accordance with the size of the carcasses. Cleaning equipment is not difficult.
