Knecht USK 170 Cooling Grinding Machine

The USK 170 straightening and wet grinding machine is suitable for sharpening a large number of different knives. Cutter knives, manual and cutting knives get ultra-clean surfaces on the wet sanding belt. A profiled rubber contact washer provides the correct pressure on the knife when sharpening. The cup grinding wheel quickly removes a large amount of material, ideal for trouble-free repair of badly damaged cutting tools. Chamfer grinding, for example, on circular knives, is performed on a cup grinding wheel. Polishing of the blade and deburring is carried out on a plate brush. After this treatment, the blade remains sharp for a long time. Clamping devices for machine knives allow precise sharpening at an exact angle on a grinding wheel. This allows personnel to work on the machine without fatigue and with minimal effort. The machine is suitable for sharpening cutter knives with a cutter capacity of up to 120 liters.
