Automatic grinding and polishing machine Knecht B 500

The B 500 machine tool automatically grinds, deburrs and polishes up to 100 cutter knives (500 L) per shift. The average sharpening and polishing time of one knife is from 3 to 5 minutes, depending on its size. With each re-sharpening, the entire cutting profile is machined. The operation of the machine does not require constant monitoring by the operator and it can perform other duties. For each grinding cycle, the machine removes about 3 g of material. A 500 liter cutter knife can be regrind up to 60 times. Knife types: Knives with sickle, straight and involute blades can be sharpened. The maximum size of the knife is 500 mm.
