Sifter PMV-500

Horizontal sifter of vibration type. Designed for sifting flour, its loosening, aeration, and separation of ferromagnetic impurities. The sifter consists of a supporting frame, a receiving hopper, a sieve, an exhaust tray with a magnetic catcher of metal impurities and a power unit. The sieve is suspended from the frame on elastic suspensions, which allows it to move in a horizontal plane. The power unit is an electric motor connected by a belt drive with a crank mechanism that converts the rotational motion of the motor shaft into reciprocating motion of the sieve. Screening is as follows. A bag of flour is installed on a support platform. The screener starts up. Flour in portions (8-10 kg) is loaded into the receiving hopper and poured through a sieve through a discharge tray into a pre-prepared container. At the end of the work, the screener is turned off. All trapped impurities are periodically removed from the surface of the sieve with a brush.
