Diatomite filters are used at the stages of overfilling and filtration of the product after processing. They are used to filter wine, beer, low-alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks, and vegetable oils. As a filter element, a system of metal sieves is used, on which a filter powder - diatomite is washed. It is possible to use several types of diatomite (this ensures a different degree of filtration). Filters are equipped with an additional filter that filters the remaining product, thereby avoiding losses during filtration. The use of filters allows you to: - reduce filtering costs by 2 or more times compared to - - plate filters (the cost of a filter pays off on average for six months); - completely avoid losses during filtration; - adjust the degree of filtration: from coarse to polishing. Diamite filters are available with both manual and automatic washing.
