Separating a berry from a comb is one of the labor-intensive operations that needs to be mechanized. For small wineries, it is important to choose equipment of optimal performance and high quality. The DVEP50I comb separator is made of food-grade stainless steel and has a standard design: a high-capacity hopper is located above the perforated drum with beats. By adjusting the speed of rotation of the drum, it is possible to achieve optimal separation of berries from the ridge; for example: for light and delicate grapes, a low speed is set, for a stronger grape - a higher drum rotation speed. The maximum productivity of the separator is 4, 5 tons per hour. For more convenient operation, the comb separator is equipped with a separate centrifugal pump for transporting grape berries to a grape crusher or container.
